Yes you can! On the checkout page, the Customer Information name and postal address should be the gift recipient's address and the Billing Address should be your address. You can also leave us a message to include with the gift.
We deliver to most parts of Australia. We endeavour to get the cheese to you as quickly as possible and aim to have it to you no later than the next day from when it leaves us. In some cases or in further corners of Australia it may take a little bit longer to reach you, if you are unsure whether it will reach you within a day or two please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our parcels contain perishable items and are best delivered directly to the recipient. If there is no one available to receive the delivery and the courier deems it safe to do so, it will be left in a safe place at the premises. It is your responsibility to contact us if an order has not arrived. We will attempt to track and locate it.
If the parcel is not deemed safe by the courier to leave at the nominated address, a card will be left and the parcel taken to the local Australia Post shop for it to be collected by the recipient.
If our delivery is not able to be located on the property and proof of delivery is provided by our courier, we cannot provide a replacement or refund as we have fulfilled our delivery process.
For items that include alcohol, there must be someone available to receive the delivery at the nominated delivery address.
Delivery is a flat rate of $9.99 Australia-wide per hamper/box. This will be applied automatically at checkout.
Platters (only available within Adelaide metro area)
Delivery is free within 20 kms driving distance from the Adelaide CBD. Areas further than 20kms within the Adelaide metro area have a $9.99 delivery fee. This will be applied automatically at checkout.
We ship orders Monday - Wednesday to ensure that your package isn't held up in transit over the weekend. Some cheese is meant to be funky, but not that funky to be left unattended over the weekend. Orders placed after 11am on Wednesday will be sent on Monday of the following week.
You can choose your order dispatch date on the Cart page if you would like to order in advance. For same day dispatch, orders must be placed by 11am. Note that we will post your order on the nominated delivery date and it will take 1-2 days to reach the shipping address.
Adelaide metro area
We deliver Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm. Some residential deliveries may be as late as 7pm, however we endeavour to have it arrive before 5pm. There must be someone available to receive the delivery at the nominated delivery address.

We use reputable courier companies for delivery of our products by the date requested. However, this is not always possible due to unforseen circumstances.

We do not offer refunds, nor accept returns. The Cheese Riot at its sole and absolute discretion, can decide to offer a refund under a case by case basis. If you there is an issue with your item please contact us immediately upon reciept.

We select Australian cheese based on seasonal availability. The cheeses will change month to month and some months you may receive a cheese you have tasted before, the selection will be based on what is available from our cheesemakers throughout the year.
We deliver monthly, in the last week of each month. You can place an order at any time and you will receive the next month's box. The product page will state which month's orders are currently open. If you miss the cut-off you will receive the next month's order. For monthly subscriptions, you can check your next order date in your account here under Manage Subscriptions.
You will be billed initially on the day that you order through the website. You will be then billed on the 5th of each month, in advance of the month ahead.Your subscription will automatically renew for a further subscription period and you will be charged the subscription price, unless it is cancelled 2 days before the above renewal date.
Yes you can, just log into your account at www.thecheeseriot.com/account/login and go to Manage Subscription, the Upcoming Subscriptions.Select Skip Shipment next to the shipment(s) you would like to skip and then select OK. You can skip up to 7 boxes in total, these do not have to be consecutive.
